One night only, enjoy an evening of beers, bikes & watts.

Maybe you’ve been riding through the Winter, or maybe you’ve been locked up in the pain cave logging indoor intervals. Either way this will be your evening of reckoning.

About the Event

You know what’s awesome? Riding your bike on a trainer indoors…Said no one ever. So if you’ve been clenching your fists in frustration these last few months, City Cyclery has just the thing to spice things up, we’re planning something big.

Do you stay up at night wondering how much power you could push over 5 minutes? Ever start a conversation with someone over what you’re theoretical MAX wattage is. We know you have? It’s ok. Which is why City Cyclery is pleased to announce the first ever Power Night Watt-A-Thon.

Here’s what you’re going to do. First it’s a BYOB event. Bring your own bike. No mooching. Second, get ready to work, cuz it’s a damn competition. There’s prizes. And beer. There’s going to be live results. Bring your friends, bring your cat, cuz it’s going to be a night of beer, bikes, and beer.

Event Proceeds Going to The Southwestern Cycling Centre of Ontario

The Southwestern Cycling Centre of Ontario’s set to become the regional cycling developmental centre for our region, and City Cyclery is proud to be a key sponsor of the SCCO. The SCCO, in its infancy, is a cycling skills development centre for all cycling disciplines, covering all levels and ages of athletes, with a primary focus on youth development.

Anticipated to be a registered chartable organization, the non-profit focuses on cycling education and provides cycling education and training for everyone from all walks of life, from athletes heading to the Olympics and international competition to the everyday recreation rider. The SCCO is lead by a nationally trained, competition development coach with extensive training through the Ontario Cycling Association and Cycling Canada.

The SCCO is always seeking support in helping us to reach this goal and City Cyclery’s fundraising event will be a great help for us to meet our goals so please get involved in the event and the SCCO.
